As chip shortages and logistics continue to affect the market, Apple is struggling to ship out the latest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. The high demand for the laptop continues to go on after three months and the shipping dates got stretched in many countries, including Malaysia.

In some countries like the US, the 14-inch MacBook Pro listed 3-4 weeks waiting time for Apple to ship it out. This is the same case with Malaysia but as for the 16-inch variant, only the 32GB + 1TB MacBook Pro gets an estimated 5-6 weeks waiting time and the rest of the models are blank. The US market's version is estimated to arrive in late February or early March 2022.

If you have been waiting for the 16-inch MacBook Pro in Malaysia, you will have to fill in your details in the "Get delivery dates" to get a good idea of when you can get yours. For the Malaysians market, you may have to wait until almost the middle of March from the 10th until the 17th. Oh well, at least the shipping is free.

According to reports, the global chip shortage has cost Apple $6 billion in the last quarter. Not only that, many restricted logistics may have contributed to limiting supplying the materials in time. Speaking of materials, Apple brought back many features such as the HDMI, SC card slot and the MagSafe charging port due to popular demand for the MacBook Pro.

Chinese New Year is coming soon so do take a break and wait patiently for the new MacBook Pros to arrive later. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
