Starting from 1 March, Sinovac recipients aged 18 and above, plus haven't received a booster shot will lose the 'Fully Vaccinated' status on the MySejahtera app. Although it was previously mentioned, the Ministry of Health is here to inform the public once again.

"We urge individuals aged 60 and above as well as Sinovac recipients aged 18 and above to get their booster shots as soon as possible. The ministry would like to reiterate that Sinovac recipients aged 18 and above to get their booster shots by March 1 or risk their MySejahtera 'fully vaccinated' status", said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

According to the latest information, 3.5 million Sinovac vaccine recipients have yet to receive a booster dose, making them vulnerable to the Omicron variant spreading rapidly in the country. Currently, Sinovac vaccine recipients can also opt for the Sinovac booster dose, but it's still recommended to take Pfizer or AZ vaccines for better immunity.
