According to a recent Bloomberg report, Siri with Apple Intelligence will be launched around March 2026 via the iOS 26.4 update. So, what should you know about it?
Development has been slow
The process of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into Siri has faced various technical issues, with Craig Federighi saying it was related to the quality of the user experience not meeting standards.
In an interview with the WSJ, Federighi said the Siri demo at last year's WWDC was there and working, but after the next version was developed, it didn't work as expected. He denied reports that last year's Siri demo was fake and just a smokescreen.
Apple is currently lagging behind Google, which not only offered Gemini that worked as advertised at Google I/O last year, but also introduced a variety of other new features at I/O this year that were truly amazing.
