If you are experiencing slow loading times on YouTube, this could be the trigger to your issue. Recently, YouTube confirmed that Ad-Blocker users will experience “suboptimal viewing” while on the platform. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, YouTube has launched a system which causes your YouTube to delay or lag if you are using an ad-blocker. This delay applies to every browser on the internet. That includes Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and even Microsoft Edge. This is what Google has to say about it:
“To support a diverse ecosystem of creators globally and allow billions to access their favourite content on YouTube, we’ve launched an effort to urge viewers with ad blockers enabled to allow ads on YouTube or try YouTube Premium for an ad-free experience. Users who have ad blockers installed may experience suboptimal viewing, regardless of the browser they are using.”
However, this delay only affects ad-blocker users. If you are not using them, you should have a normal viewing experience. At this point, it is obvious that Youtube is pushing everyone to get Youtube Premium. We have yet to confirm other details on this matter. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.
