Flagships phones are great, but not everyone can afford them. Mid-range devices could be better, as they can be powerful enough while being cheaper. In that sense, the upcoming mid-range Qualcomm chipset could just be what many people want.

Recently, Qualcomm announced that it would be running a Snapdragon-related launch on 17 March 2023. While the company didn't specify what product it plans to launch, it's believed that this could be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. If this is true, Qualcomm could also reveal what upcoming devices would feature this chipset.

According to GSMArena, the unconfirmed Snapdragon chipset (SM7475) spotted on Geekbench could be Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. This 4nm chipset is expected to come with 1x Cortex-X2 CPU core (2.92GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 CPU cores (2.5GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 CPU cores (1.8GHz). It also has an Adreno 725 GPU (580MHz). Interestingly, some sources claim that this could be the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 instead.

Honestly, we don't know enough to confirm anything. But 17 March is just around the corner, so let's wait and see what Qualcomm has up its sleeve. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news about the latest mobile devices.
