So here's a piece of interesting news - Usually, brands would release their flagship series lineup with the same chipset but this might not be the case for HONOR. As they prepare to launch the upcoming V40 series, a new leak suggests that there are four variants with a different chipset for each.

As mentioned in the leaked post, there isn't much information about the V40 series but rumours have it that there could be the V40 standard edition, V40 Pro, V40 Pro+ and a V40 Commemorative Edition. If you have followed the news, you might have heard about HONOR working closely with Qualcomm and it seems that the Snapdragon 888 chipset could appear on the V40 Pro+ variant. The Samsung Exynos 1080 might appear on the pro edition as well.

Then for the standard and Commemorative edition, it could be sporting a Dimensity 1000+ and Kirin 9000 chipset. Why the need for four different chipsets? Well, judging from the list - HONOR might export the Pro editions globally while the other two would remain in the Chinese market because of the chipset usage. Of course, we are also just speculating so do take it with a pinch of salt.
