According to the folks at Korea Times, Samsung will be sending out a new over-the-air software update that will stop your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from charging past 60% or 2100 mAh of the full 3500 mAh battery. This may stop it from exploding as reports had the smartphone explode during charging. It should also serve as a more compelling reason to replace your 'unsafe' Galaxy Note 7. Don't wait for it to happen and go get your replacement as soon as possible.
