Solarvest Holdings Berhad (“Solarvest”), together with engineering students from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), have installed solar and battery systems at four bus stops in Kampung Chenderong Kelubi in Perak. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this project, which starts from 7 to 9 May 2025, is supported by the Orang Asli Development Department (JAKOA), which benefits more than 1000 residents, including 300 students from 11 surrounding Orang Asli villages. Apart from providing clean electricity, this project also provides UTP students with the opportunity to learn practically with Solarvest engineers, from the planning stage to system installation.
According to Solarvest and JAKOA, this project is not just about installing lights, but an important step towards improving the lives of the Orang Asli community through green technology.
