Maybank announced that some of its main services cannot be accessed temporarily between 11:30 and 11:59 pm on 9 October 2024. The disruption involved services such as Maybank2U online payments, MAE applications, QRPay Biz applications, Maybank Wealth applications, FPX payments, debit card transactions, ATMs and check deposit machines.
It is also said that system maintenance is needed in preparation for the 10.10 monthly shopping campaign to ensure that no unwanted problems occur during the period in question. Maybank apologises for the inconvenience and appreciates the cooperation of many parties in the issue.
