The Left 4 Dead series was regarded as one of the best FPS games in a zombie apocalypse setting. Although the franchise is quite old, there are still some gamers playing the game and it was only recently that there is a new campaign story mode released known as Chernobyl Chapter One. Keep in mind that this is not officially from Valve but from a super loyal fan named Av3ris.

According to sources, Av3ris spent nearly 9 years creating and modding this campaign by himself for Left 4 Dead 2. There are a total of 5 new maps and the story follows the main characters, Rochelle, Ellis, Coach and Nick crash landing in Chernobyl and must fight their way out. It's also said that there are a total of 400 new modules and 500 texture maps were used for this.

If you're still playing Left 4 Dead 2, you can actually download the campaign mod at the Steam forum (link below). Remember to download both "Chernobyl Chapter One" and "Part 1-7" for the mod to operate normally, this applies to multiplayer mode as well. Currently, there are 9 self-built servers, 3 of which are from Singapore itself which is great for us Malaysians.

For more information, you can check out the Steam forum right here. If you haven't got the game yet, Left 4 Dead 2 is only on sale for RM23.50 on Steam. Stay tuned for more gaming news at TechNave.com and GLHF!
