Today, Sonos Malaysia just announced another new soundbar called the Sonos Ray. While it looks relatively small for a soundbar, this audio device cost RM1799. Why is it so expensive? Well, let's find out below.
According to Sonos, the Sonos Ray is an all-in-one soundbar for watching movies/TV shows, listening to music as well as providing an immersive gaming experience. The company is also claiming that the sound system is fined-tuned by award-winning Hollywood sound engineers with speech enhancement. To complement this feature, the device has Speech Enhancement for that as well as Night Sound for reducing loud sound effects intensity.
The Sonos Ray can be connected to any TV and be controlled with any existing remote. Moreover, it can even be connected to a PC but must-have optical output support. Another function that's worth mentioning is the Trueplay tuning technology that adapts the sound around the area.
The pre-order of the Sonos Ray has already begun at the price of RM1799 as aforementioned. You can either get one in black or white too, whereby the device will officially launch in Malaysia by the end of June 2022.
