Today, Sonos is introducing a new portable and compact sound speaker called the Sonos Roam. Priced at RM1099 in Shadow Black or Lunar White, it will be available across Malaysia from 21 April 2021 onwards. The official distributor is TC Acoustic.
Getting into the tech specs, you can connect the Sonos Roam on both WiFi and Bluetooth. If you have a Sonos app, it will allow you to group any of your Sonos speakers to Roam when streaming Bluetooth, as well as being compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay 2, or directly from your favourite music service app. As a compact speaker, you can bring it around with you easily and it even has IP67 water and dust resistant rating.
Equipped to last 10 hours of music playback on a single charge, it can be charged on a custom Sonos magnetic wireless charger (or any Qi wireless charger) that is sold separately. Depending on your surrounding, the speaker uses Trueplay tuning to adapt to the environment as well as to whatever you're listening to with the best sound quality possible.
