Sony Alpha A6500, RX100 V, A99 Mark II are now officially announced in Malaysia

Sony Malaysia has officially announced their latest camera line-up here in Malaysia. Showcasing the brand new RX100 V, Alpha A6500, and also their new Alpha A99 II.
Being one of best ASP-C compact camera, Sony starts their presentation by broadcasting live using the new A6500.

The A6500 features a new 24.2-megapixel EXMOR CMOS Sensor, 425 phase detection AF points, 11 frames per second shooting speed, an expanded memory buffer which allows up to 307 shots in a single press of the shutter, and also Sony's IBIS 5-axis optical image stabilisation. Not to forget, it also has touch screen now for easier control over the camera. The folks at Sony also emphasised the capability of 4K recording, despite it oversamples a 6k sensor into a 4k resolution video making it sharp and detail.

As for the younger brother RX100 V, it features a 20.1 megapixel 1-inch Exmor RS BSI CMOS Sensor, Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens equivalent to 24-70mm with a fast f/1.8-2.8 maximum aperture, a Fast Hybrid AF system with 315 focal-plane-detection points, continuous shooting up to 24 frames per second shooting speed with a buffer up to 148 JPEG photos. It also capable of recording high-quality 4K resolution video with incredible 960 fps slow-mo video.

As for the highest end among the other two cameras, Sony also brought back their SLT camera, Sony A99 Mark II. This camera includes features like 5-axis stabilisation system, 4k recording, 12 frames per second shooting speed, ISO range of 100-25600, magnesium alloy body and a 3-inch non-touch tiltable screen.

As for the price details of these cameras, the A99 Mark II will be selling at RM12299 body only, A6500 at RM6499 body only, and RX100 V at RM4599. We also get a chance to test out the cameras ourselves, so here are some of the sample photos from each camera.
