Sony fans are in for a treat. The company recently announced a new camera called Sony Burano. That said, what should you know about this device?

For your information, the new camera is specially designed for single-camera operators and small crews. If you are a long-time fan of Sony cameras, you might notice this camera features a sensor that matches the colour science of the VENICE 2. Interestingly, Sony claims this camera to be the world's first digital cinema camera with a PL-Mount to feature in-body image stabilisation.

Moreover, it also features a variable ND filter and an OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) mechanism for a better result. This is a first for Sony’s camera because these techs are absent from the previous models. You can also remove the PL lens mount and use the camera with E-mount lenses. As a result, it supports fast hybrid AF and subject recognition AF. That’s great for fast-moving objects.
