For professional videographers, the gear they use is important. But you've probably noticed that most professional camcorders are rather bulky. Fortunately, Sony has an alternative in the form of the new FX3 video camera.

The Sony FX3 combines the company's full-frame mirrorless and imaging technology. This results in a professional-class video camera that's more compact and portable. Its 10.2MP full-frame sensor allows it to footage in 4K/120P, 10-bit colour, and 16-bit RAW output over HDMI. Additionally, it has an extended ISO range of up to 409600.

All of this is in a body that measures 129.7 x 77.8 x 84.5 mm and weighs only 715g (battery included). Of course, portability isn't the Sony FX3's only highlight. The camera also comes with 5-axis in-body image stabilisation, compatibility with an XLR adapter, Real-time Eye AF, and more.

Sony has confirmed that the local retail price for the FX3 camera will be RM18999. However, it won't be available till May 2021. Having said that, would you be keen on spending that kind of money to upgrade your videos? Share your thoughts in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
