Sony Float Run Malaysia release: No-pressure headphones specifically designed for runners at RM599

Sony Malaysia today announced the Sony Float Run, a new model of headphones designed with runners and athletes in mind. Featuring a novel headphone style that positions the speaker near but without touching the ear canal, read on below to know more about the product. 

In a press release, Sony said that the Float Run focuses on the runner’s form for a comfortable and stable experience without compromising on sound quality. The special off-ear design is claimed to provide extended comfort without having to worry about pressure or stuffiness on the ears.

It is also lightweight at 33 grams and has a flexible neckband that ensures it stays on even when users wear accessories such as hats or sunglasses. In terms of sound, the Float Run has a 16mm driver and precise tuning that Sony claims provide a more natural and wider sound. 

Besides that, the headphones also sport an IPX4 water-resistant, battery life of up to 10 hours, USB-C charging with 10 minutes charge giving an hour of music playback and a built-in microphone. In Malaysia, the Float Run will be available starting May 2023 with it being listed at RM599 on Sony Malaysia’s official website.
