Aside from the new PlayStation 5 "Slim" design, Sony also announced a new lineup of INZONE wearables. There are three of them which are the INZONE Buds wireless gaming earbuds, the INZONE H5 wireless headset and a new black INZONE H9 wireless noise-cancelling headset.
Starting with the INZONE Buds, these wireless earbuds feature Sony's trademark 360 Spatial Sound and that's not all, Sony even developed the Buds to offer a sound field tailored to you. This is achieved by creating a personalised hearing profile by taking photos of your ears via the 360 Spatial Sound Personaliser smartphone app.
In addition to the Sound Field Optimisation, INZONE Buds can be optimised for your ear canal with Sound Tone Personalisation. Based on the acoustic analysis, the sound is then personalised using the INZONE Hub PC application. The main driver unit is Sony's Dynamic Driver X which is also used with the WF-1000XM5. Of course, it has ANC as well and can last up to 12 hours with low power consumption mode or up to 24 hours of battery life with the charging case.
Next, the INZONE H5 is a lightweight headset with the same 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming feature. Sony said it has an AI-based Crystal-Clear Communication function to talk with your teammates online, and it can last up to 28 hours of battery life wirelessly. Alternatively, you can use the 3.5mm plug option as well and finally, there's a new INZONE H9 Black model with the same functions as before.
The INZONE Buds, INZONE H5 and INZONE H9 Black headsets will be available in Malaysia this month. At the moment, the INZONE Buds are priced at RM899 and the INZONE H9 Black is still RM1299. The INZONE H5 has no official local price tag yet.
