Today, Sony Malaysia just announced that the fifth batch for the PlayStation 5 pre-order. From their Facebook post, the pre-order will commence from 16 April 2021 at 00:01 hours onwards. As usual, the PS5 still costs RM2299.
This time around, the fifth pre-order will be held at the company's online store in Lazada only. You might have realized that we didn't write down the PS5 Digital edition here but that's because it won't be part of the pre-order, unfortunately. To prevent scalpers from getting their hands on the PS5 units, Whatsapp-to-Buy will be temporarily unavailable and PS5 consoles are limited to one customer only.
On top of that, PS5 gaming peripherals are also available at the Lazada store. This includes the PS5 DualSense Wireless controller (RM349), PS5 Media Remote (RM149), PS5 DualSense Charging Station (RM149), PS5 HD Camera (RM279) and the PS5 Pulse 3D Wireless Headset (RM469). All consoles and gaming peripherals are based on first come first serve, while stocks last.
