Can't stand the weather we have here? Walking outside can be unbearable in the hot months, but there's an interesting accessory that may solve your heat issues. Say hi to Sony's latest wearable air-conditioner - the Reon Pocket Pro.
First launched in 2020, the Sony Reon series offers wearable air-conditioners that 'attach' to the back of your neck via a neckband to provide direct cooling. The Reon Pocket Pro is the latest model in this series, as it packs two independent thermo-modules for twice the cooling area of conventional wearable air-conditioners. The new model also has multiple sensors to better detect the temperature, thus enhancing the accuracy of its auto start-stop function.

Additionally, the Reon Pocket Pro also has some changes to improve comfort. The wearable has a lower operating noise, making it 50% quieter than its predecessors. Its shape also helps it conform to a person's body shape, so it's more comfortable to wear for longer. Moreover, the neckband is now more flexible, while the new silicone extension on the tips further enhances comfort and fit.
The Reon Pocket Pro will be available in Malaysia in July 2025 for RM1,199. That's quite a pricey device, but would you consider getting one if the hot weather persists till July? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
