Today, Sony is excited to announce a brand new wireless neckband speaker. Called the SRS-NB10 Neckband Speaker, it seems that the company developed this for staying at home purposes. Let's read below on what it can do.
For starters, this wireless neckband was designed to rest on your shoulders and allows you to do conference calls or listen to any entertainment source all day. A pair of full-range speaker units are placed upwards to you so that the sound is optimised. Combining this with a Precise Voice Pickup Technology, the two-directional microphones will use advanced audio signal processing to minimise the feedback and echo. In other words, people on the other side won't be distracted by your surrounding sounds.

At the tip of the wireless neckband, you can also easily control the microphone with a simple click of the MIC Mute button. Of course, you can control the volume, play and pause too. According to Sony, it can last up to 20 hours of battery life and it's compatible with USB Type C. A quick 10-minute charge can give another hour of battery life as well.
If you use multiple devices, you can use the Multipoint Connection and pair up to two devices simultaneously such as your laptop and smartphone and switch in between them. Sony also integrated an IPX4 splash-proof rating on the wearable, so that you don't have to worry about water damage.

Sony said that the SRS-NB10 Neckband Speaker costs RM599 but it won't be available in the Malaysian market anytime soon. We will have to wait for a few more months from January 2022 onwards.
