It's really not a big surprise by now, but Sony was gearing up to launch the WF-1000XM4. The new model was first leaked in February before finally being released earlier today. As expected, it will bring improvements in certain areas.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 has even better noise cancellation capabilities than its predecessors. This is thanks to a new Integrated Processor V1 and two high-performance noise sensor microphones. Moreover, the new model comes with specially-designed 6mm drivers that can output a frequency range from 20Hz to up to 40kHz at high quality.
The new model has a new design that's expected to deliver a more ergonomic fit. It even has new Noise Isolation Earbud Tips that are comfortable and helps with noise isolation. On top of that, the new model comes with plenty of features like Fast Pair, Adaptive Sound Control, Beamforming, LDAC support, and IPX4 water resistance.
In terms of battery life, the WF-1000XM4 has Bluetooth 5.2 for greater power efficiency. In fact, you can enjoy up to 8-hours of music playback with active noise cancelling enabled. With the charging case, you get another 16 hours of battery life for a total of 24 hours. If your battery is low but you need to head out, a 5-minute charge is enough to give you 60 minutes of playback time.
Sony is retailing the WF-1000XM4 for RM1099 and pre-orders in Malaysia starts from today till 15 July 2021. If you're interested, do check out the official product page.
