In the middle of May, it was announced that the Sony Xperia 1 VI would be coming in July this month. Well, the phone is now available for RM6,499 in Khaki Green and Black.
There's an early bird promo happening now until 10 August 2024. Customers who purchase the Xperia 1 VI can bring home a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless noise cancelling headphones alongside a premium clear casing and tempered glass screen protector. The headphones is the latest ANC wearable by Sony which was released last year worth RM1,799.
We talked about the Xperia 1 VI before so here's a quick recap of some highlighted tech specs. The Xperia 1 VI is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage (expandable via microSDXC card up to 1.5TB). It also has a 5000mAh battery with fast charging technology and it's said to last two days (depending on daily usage).
As a camera-centric phone, the Xperia 1 VI features a 52MP Exmor T mobile sensor + 12MP Exmore RS ultrawide + 12MP telephoto lens with an 85mm focal length that's capable of zooming up to x7.1. All the lenses use Zeiss coating. The OLED display measures 6.5 inches in FHD+ HDR and has a 120Hz refresh rate.
