Sony Xperia 10 V renders appear online, show lack of changes to predecessor

Design changes tend to be how brands get their new smartphones to stand out from the crowd. But you often see smartphone series that don't change much in subsequent generations. Sony has largely followed this principle for its Sony Xperia series devices.

In other words, it's not too surprising to hear that this year's Sony Xperia smartphones might not look all that different from their predecessors. As revealed by thetechoutlook.com, the Sony Xperia 10 V is practically identical to the Sony Xperia 10 IV. You get the same thick top and bottom bezels, allowing the phone to feature a front camera without a notch. The buttons, SIM tray, and ports are also in the same position.

However, the source claims that the phone's dimensions are 153.3 x 68.4 x 8.5mm. This makes it slightly larger than its predecessor, so there might be notable changes to internal components. For example, the Xperia 10 V could have a larger battery than the Xperia 10 IV (5000mAh). It could also have more storage, RAM, a larger display, or better cameras.

Of course, we don't have any solid info on the specs and features yet, so all we can do is speculate. But what do you think the new model could change? Is there a feature you feel would make it a worthwhile purchase? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates on this phone.
