Today, Sony Mobile has announced its new reimagined Xperia Ear Duo and it will be coming out quite soon on 4 June 2018. Priced at RM1199, it will be available in Black and Gold styles in selected Sony outlets. Its companion application is also available to download at the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
In case if you've never heard of the Xperia Ear Duo, this earpiece is one of the first wireless headsets to deliver a dual listening experience, which means you can listen to both music and notifications at the same time whilst hearing environmental sound or conversation. How this was done is due to the Spatial Acoustic Conductor, developed by Sony’s in-house technology incubator Future Lab Program that allows the sound generated behind the ear by the unit´s driver to be transmitted directly into the ear. With this, the music from the device can blend in seamlessly with the environment sounds around you.
In addition, Sony’s Clear Phase audio technology can intelligently adjust and eliminate sound dispersion for crystal clear listening. It even response to head gestures, allowing you to answer or decline incoming calls by shaking or nodding your head, as well as skipping music by shaking your head left and right. Of course, there's voice control too and it can be used with Google Assistant or Siri.
