The Sony Xperia Z1 was supposed to have been the culmination of everything good about Sony. It would take the best out of all of Sony's product ranges and put them all into one smartphone, but while this almost came true, the screen suffered from rather poor viewing angles. Six months down the line and Sony have finally revealed the successor to the Xperia Z1 with the Sony Xperia Z2 which not only has a 5.2-inch display but looks much better than before with it's new Live Colour LED tech, used in tandem with the existing Full HD 1080p Triluminous display. The tech specs and features have been updated accordingly with the Snapdragon 801 processor and chipset, 3GB of RAM and 4K video recording. But that isn't all, as the Xperia Z2 also offers new stereo speakers with noise cancellation tech built in. Check out the Sony Xperia Z2 tech specs below:

The Sony Xperia Z2 highlight video
As you can see, the 20.7MP rear camera remains the same, but the better processor and RAM definitely make 4K video recording a smoother experience. The Xperia Z2 is also thinner than before and has the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat. While no specific Malaysia release dates have been mentioned we expect the Sony Xperia Z2 to arrive in Malaysia in or after March 2014. No pricing news yet though, but we expect it to be as premium as the previous version.
