Today, Sony introduced a new second-gen camera - the ZV-1 II for vloggers. As a successor to the popular ZV-1 vlog camera, it will be arriving in the Malaysian market in July 2023 at the price of RM3999.

Equipped with a 1.0-type Exmor RS image sensor (20.1MP), BIONZ X image processing engine, and ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 18-50mm F1.8-4 lens, the ZV-11 allows creators to take advantage of many features in the camera. For starters, the 18-50mm ultrawide-angle lens can frame group selfies or dynamic recordings of everyday scenes to Multiple Face Recognition, which recognises multiple faces and automatically adjusts to keep all faces sharp and clear.

Packed for travelling, the camera can also automatically set a CinemaScope size (2.35:1) and a frame rate of 24 fps (the same setting for a cinema movie) and has 10 Creative Look presets to suit your creative preferences and pro-level imaging features. Moreover, the camera is equipped with AF Transition Speed to select the focusing speed during video recording, and AF Subject Shift Sensitivity to control the focus in line with the subject's movement and environment. Real-time Eye AF also returns to focus on humans or animals in images.

Moving on, the camera allows a selection of up to 5x slow or up to 60x quick motion to add impact to everyday scenes. Users can set the ISO sensitivity from 125 to 12800, and use the Active Mode EIS (electronic image stabilisation) to go around taking videos and pictures everywhere. On top of that, the ZV-1 II can be connected to a PC or phone via USB C to use it as a webcam.
