People who are into vlogging mostly use their phones these days, but there' nothing like a high-quality camera to make your video logs that much better. And when it comes to cameras like this, you generally want to go with compact cameras. On that topic, sources have claimed that Sony will be unveiling the ZV1 compact camera fairly soon on 26 May 2020.
According to Sony Alpha Rumors, the ZV1 is a compact selfie camera that's designed with vloggers in mind. It's expected to come with an improved microphone, a flexible LCD, and a 24-70mm F1.8 – 2.8 lens. In terms of features, it's supposed to have One Touch Bokeh, Auto Object Detect, and existing real-time autofocus plus real-time eye autofocus.
The two autofocus technologies aren't new, but are previously found on pricier Sony cameras like the RX100 Mark VII. Having it work with videos on the Sony ZV1 would make it a great option for those who are YouTube content creators. As for One Touch Bokeh and Auto Object Detect, these two seem to be new features. The former is pretty self-explanatory, while the other one could be another tracking feature.
While an exciting piece of news for camera enthusiasts and vloggers, Sony has yet to confirm this rumour so do take the rumour with a grain of salt. Having said that, what else would you hope for this camera to have if it were real? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for potential updates on the news.
