The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 is starting to warm up and it's usually the time when tech brands will show off their latest technologies and gadgets. In Sony Electronics' case, they have announced several brand new televisions for the masses and here's everything you need to know.
From their latest smart TV lineup, there's the new BRAVIA XR, MASTER Series Z9J 8K LED, A90J OLED, A80J OLED, X95J and X90J 4K LED smart TVs. The BRAVIA XR is equipped with the latest Cognitive Processor XR which is designed to replicate the ways humans see and hear, so to achieve this, the processor can cross-analyse an array of elements (on the TV screen) at once then adjusted to the best final outcome. Sony claimed that this is something that the current AI processors can't do.
On top of that, the processor can also analyse sound position in the signal so the sound matches precisely with what’s on the screen. It is able to upconvert any sound to 3D surround sound for an immersive experience, as well as analysing data and intelligently optimises every pixel, frame and scene.
