Sony has announced when it might present the new Xperia 5 IV, and it's on 1 September. The event will be live-streamed on the official Sony Xperia YouTube channel at 4 PM Japan time (3 PM Malaysia time).
Based on previous rumours and a recent FCC certification, the Xperia 5 IV will debut with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a camera setup similar to the current Xperia 5 III with three 12MP sensors. The device is also expected to bring a 6-inch OLED screen and support wireless charging.
