For APS-C fans, the α6500 is the camera to gun for. It now features a new 24.2 megapixel EXMOR CMOS Sensor, the same 4D FOCUS system as the α6300 camera to lock focus on a subject in as little as 0.05 seconds, 425 phase detection AF points, 11 frames per second shooting speed, an expanded memory buffer which allows up to 307 shots in a single press of the shutter button, features Sony’s acclaimed in-camera 5-axis optical image stabilization and a new touch screen for easy control of the camera.

For compact enthusiasts, the RX100 V brings the Fast Hybrid AF to a compact camera. It can achieve AF acquisition at 0.05 seconds and it has the world’s highest number of AF points on sensor for a compact camera, with 315 points covering approximately 65% of the frame.  The RX100 V is equipped with a newly developed 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a DRAM chip, a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70 mm5 F1.8 – 2.8 large aperture lens and an enhanced image processing system with a new front-end LSI chip that maximizes processing speed, expands the memory buffer and optimizes image quality, in particular at high ISO settings.  It can record 4K videos, and even super-slow videos of up to 960fps for truly step by step video experience.

The two cameras will be available by end November, with the a6500 priced at USD 1400 (~RM 5816) and the RX100 V will have a sticker price of USD 1000 or about RM 4154. Stay tuned to TechNave for Malaysian availability.
