Sony seems to be getting a headstart early this year as per tradition, they have already show off the new Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2 at CES 2018 a few days ago, now the company has made a confirmation that they will be holding a press event on 26 February 2018. What's so special on that particular date? Well, that's when the MWC 2018 will start and they will most probably announce their newest flagship which is the rumoured Xperia XZ Pro.

The Xperia XZ Pro is said to have a new look but retaining the familiar Xperia design, featuring a nearly bezel-less design on both sides with a dual curved edge screen. Speaking of display, the OLED display size will be measured at 5.7-inch with an 18:9 aspect ratio and has a resolution up to 4K. On the camera, there will be a pair of cameras of 13MP + 12MP, the front will carry a 13MP sensor.

It should also run in Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, using the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, memory capacity should be quite big as well up to 6GB + 128GB, and a 3420mAh battery pack inside. Aside from that Xperia XZ Pro rumour, the Xperia XZ Premium 2 (or XZ2 Premium) could also appear alongside.

MWC 2018 will be here before you know it so until then, stay tuned for more Sony news at TechNave.com.
