Weeks after Sony launched the a7S III, we're about to get a more compact model. Sony has officially added the Alpha 7C (a7C) compact full-frame camera, along with the FE 28-60mm F4-5.6 zoom lens and HVL-F28RM flash to its product lineup. The camera itself is expected to launch in Malaysia in November 2020.

Weighing around 509g when a battery and a memory card is installed, the Sony a7C could indeed be the lightest full-frame camera to date. If you watch the video below, you can also see the difference in size between the a7C and a standard full-frame mirrorless camera like the a7S III. And this is with a 5-axis in-body stabilisation system inside and a high-capacity battery that has enough power for you to take up to 740 images.

Despite the compact size, it's still going to have a 24.2MP 35mm full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, as well as BIONZ X engine to deliver great image resolution and high sensitivity. Besides that, the a7C has an ISO range of 50 to 204800, a 693-point focal-plane phase-detection autofocus system, Real-time Tracking with AI, and more.
