Every few months, Sony hosts a PlayStation event for new games that haven't been released. This PlayStation Showcase usually contains trailers for upcoming games, as well as launch dates for games that are coming soon. Now, a source has claimed that the next event is next month.
According to Nick Baker (Xbox Era co-founder), Sony does indeed have a show lined up for March 2022 and it would be one of the "good ones". This implies that this so-called event next month will have lots of big AAA titles that will be on showcase. Currently, fans speculate that Sony would show off more of Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, and Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Besides that, the company could also use the chance to showcase its latest console hardware. Recently, Sony published a blog to show the designs of the PlayStation VR2 and some design philosophies behind it. It feels like Sony is ready to launch the product, so the PlayStation Showcase would be a good chance to officially unveil the new VR headset.
