When it comes to brands that make high-quality audio accessories, Sony will definitely make it into the list. For years, the company has produced many highly acclaimed audio products including the Sony WF-1000XM3 and WH-1000XM3, which are their more recent works. Today, Sony surprised us with dropping two new headphones, WF-XB700 - true wireless earbuds and WH-CH710N - over-ear wireless headphones.

First, let’s start by talking about the earbuds. The WF-XB700 is said to be a good pair of earbuds for all the bass heads out there. It comes with Sony’s signature Extra Bass technology to bring a punchier sound output. The earbuds also can last nine hours in a single charge, another nine hours with the charging case. It gets an IPX4 water and sweat resistance rating as well with a price of 129.99 USD (~RM565).

We think that most of you would find the next one more interesting. The WH-CH710N is a pair of noise-cancelling headphones with Sony’s new technology called “Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation (AINC)”. For those who are not going to spend big bucks but still want to get a pair of high-quality noise-cancelling headphones, you might need to consider this. Compared to Sony WH-1000XM3 that is currently sold with the retail price of RM1,399, this new headphones will be more affordable at 199.99 USD (~RM870).

Furthermore, the WH-CH710N’s noise cancellation setting doesn’t work the same as the one on WH-1000XM3, which you have to set manually through connected devices. It is said that this new pair of headphones will “automatically selects the most effective noise-cancelling mode for users’ surroundings”. Therefore, you might not have to ransack your pockets for your phone every time you want to adjust the setting. Other than that, the battery life of the headphones is claimed to be able to run up to 35 hours continuously after a full charge, which does sound impressive.
