Not long ago, CES 2020 caused a stir in the technology industry with companies showing their latest spectacular inventions. Now. the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 is approaching as well and we can’t wait to see what are the new technologies that smartphone manufacturers are going to bring to us. Sony has confirmed to be at the show by sending out invites for an event in which they might launch several new smartphones, let’s find out what they could be!

First, Sony is expected to launch a plus-sized version of Sony Xperia 5 and it might be named Xperia 5 Plus, we guess Sony is going to take it easy with their naming system compared to the others if it’s true. It is also said that the company will launch another flagship that packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, 5G connectivity and other high-end features from 2020 smartphones.

Other than that, a mid-range device is expected to be announced at the event as well, and it is said to come with a Snapdragon 765 processor. For the design, Sony is rumoured to ditch the old-school screen borders by introducing punch-hole cutout to house the front camera. Do take these rumours with a grain of salt as Sony hasn’t released any information on the products they are going to announce at the event yet.

The Sony MWC 2020 event will be happening on 24th February at 3:30 pm. For those who are interested, Sony has announced they will live stream the event as well. Let us know what you think about these rumoured smartphones on our Facebook page. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more smartphone updates.
