Wait, a wearable air conditioner? Yup, Sony just launched this amazing device that would prove useful in an all-day summer country like Malaysia. It costs only $140 which is roughly around ~RM575 but too bad it's only selling in Japan.

Anyway, this wearable air conditioner is called the Reon Pocket 2. You can pair this device with your smartphone (to monitor the temperature) and then wear it as if it's a necklace but on your back. In terms of specs, Sony said that the wearable air con has a mini circuit that pushes more power to the thermal module and twice the endothermic performance for cooling air.

Since it's designed to be on your back, the Reon Pocket 2 is sweat and drip-resistant for outdoor activities. It also has a built-in rechargeable 3350mAh battery that lasts up to 4 hours of usage at Level 1 power. If you adjust it to 4 hours maximum, it will last for 1.5 - 2 hours. Sony even made some compatible clothing for the Rean Pocket 2 so that you don't need to keep it in place all the time.

It sounds like a neat device to have. Maybe one day when you get to fly to Japan, you can get one of this stuff back home. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
