Sony latest full-frame mirror less camera A9 II will be coming into Malaysia in December!

Today, Sony has just announced the launch of its latest line up full-frame camera, Alpha A9 II which will be coming into Malaysia this December. The Sony Alpha A9 has been an ideal and perfect camera for professionals since 2017.

Dai Tanaka, Director, Digital Imaging Division, Sony Electronics Asia Pacific mentioned that the all-new Sony Alpha A9 II is the direct result of countless feedback sessions with agency, sports and news photographers since the launch of the original Alpha 9. So let’s take a look into the tech specs of the camera.

The new model can capture up to 20fps for up to 361 JPEG images or 239 compressed RAW images during continuous shooting without blackout with the 60 AF and auto-exposure calculations per second computation speed. It also has been improved to shoot at up to 10fps which is about 2x the speed compared to its previous predecessor.

Besides, it has an improved shutter speed with the 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization system, an upgraded BIONZ X image processing engine to enhance the speed in AF/AE detection, image processing, face detection and accuracy from the sensor’s faster readout speed. It’s latest image-processing algorithm also helps to reduce noise while improving subjective resolution and image quality.

The Sony A9II is complemented an extremely versatile E-mount system that can support with the 55 native lenses and the super-telephoto 600mm and 400mm G Master series lenses. As it is perfectly designed tool for professionals either in the field or on the field.

As for the body built, it has been upgraded with a dust and moisture resistant design, a stronger sealing on the whole body to meet the needs of professionals in the most challenging outdoor conditions especially on sports events. A USB Type-C connector for fast data transfer, an improved grip configuration, button designs and also shutter mechanism will reduce the possibility of blurry image to nearly zero.
