Sony has just completed its my Xperia mobile security app and is releasing it in stages according to smartphone model and market. Designed for Xperia smartphones released in 2012 and 2013 the app helps you:
- Find your missing Sony Xperia smartphone complete with a map.
- Send a distress message to your smartphone remotely.
- Lock it remotely.
- Erase all internal and external memory remotely.
Granted, you have to have the app installed and setup before it went missing to use these features. You also have to register online but once you do it, it should offer a bit more value and security for your Sony Xperia smartphones. You can check out my Xperia here.
