Are you itching for next-gen console action already? Well, you now have a chance to get a leg up over other people and pre-order the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5). Or rather, Sony will let you register your interest and will 'invite' selected customers to be able to pre-order the console and related accessories when they launch.

That's right, it's essentially a lucky draw where you gamble for the chance to buy the PS5. To do that, you'll have to go to the campaign page and key in your PSN ID to register your interest. If you're selected, Sony will send you an email invite for the pre-order. But there's a limited number of consoles available for pre-order and it's on a first-come-first-serve basis, so you'll have to do it fast! You can check the FAQ page for more details.

You have to sign up with your PSN ID for a chance to pre-order

Additionally, Sony will limit purchases to one unit of either the standard PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition per person. However, you'll be able to order up to two units of DualSense controller, DualSense charging station, Pulse 3D headphone, media remote, and HD camera. One caveat to note is that you have to ship your pre-order to a US address for the purchase to be valid, so you'll need a freight-forwarded to send it back to Malaysia. But that's going to be expensive...

Anyway, we hope that Sony will run a pre-order campaign for Malaysia so folks here can get a chance to buy the console too. But with that said, are you hoping to be an early adopter of the PS5 or would you rather wait to see how it performs?
