Today, Sony added three new audio products to the LinkBuds lineup - the LinkBuds Fit, LinkBuds Open and a new LinkBuds Speaker. At the moment, no official prices have been announced yet but they will be coming to Malaysia in the future.
Designed for those with an active lifestyle, the LinkBuds Fit sports a newly developed Fitting Supporters and Earbuds tips for noise cancelling and Auto Ambient Sound Mode that can be switched in between. There are also a few colour options to choose from, which are black, white, green and violet (a special with Olivia Rodrigo) Furthermore, it features Dynamic Driver X, also seen within the WF-1000XM5, offering High-Resolution Audio Wireless and DSEE Extreme. The earbuds can last up to 21 hours of total playback and have an IPX4 water resistance rating.
Next, the LinkBuds Open is an open-ring design wearable with the same Fitting Supporters for all-day wearing comfort. Available in black, white and violet, the earbuds are powered by Sony's Integrated Processor V2 11mm driver unit, producing clear mid and high-frequency, as well as supporting DSEE technology. It has a long battery life of up to 22 hours of listening and an IPX4 water resistance rating.
Lastly, the LinkBuds Speaker can be paired up with LinkBuds earbuds. It can be used as a wireless speaker for network calling or playing music on the go wherever you are. With an IPX4 water-resistance rating, you can use it around water without worrying about splashes. And with a battery life of up to 25 hours, it can keep your music going all day long. The LinkBuds Speaker is available in light grey and black.
The LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 1 November 2024, whereas the LinkBuds Speaker will be available in January 2025. Until then, stay tuned for our official news coverage.
