IFA 2018 event will hit off the stage in Germany soon and we know Sony will be holding a press conference there. Usually, the company will reveal new gadgets at the end of the year but it seems that they have changed their minds. According to the new Twitter teaser video, a new Sony smartphone is definitely coming.

The teaser video didn't show any major spoilers, though. All it has is an Xperia logo which is obviously the name for its smartphone lineup. Could it be the Xperia XZ3 that was floating around on the Internet? Because rumours have it that the latest flagship could feature a bigger memory capacity at 6GB + 128GB, a 3240mAh battery pack as well as a quad-camera setup. On the other hand, there could be a new Xperia XA3 and according to sources, loaded up with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, 6GB of RAM and running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box (should be upgradable to Android Pie in the near future).

That sounds nice and all and even though we are just a few hours away, it's still best to take it with a pinch of salt. Until Sony officially announces it, stay tuned for the official news at TechNave.com.
