Call of Duty: Mobile has been enjoying some success to a certain degree, but up until now there aren't any major tournaments about the mobile game. Well, that's about to change as it has been announced that there will be a first-ever COD: Mobile World Championship global finals and Sony is sponsoring it. Since this is a global tournament, we have some information below on how you might participate.
The global tournament will start with 4 open online qualifiers starting from 30 April to 24 May 2020 (UTC) so it will be a 4 long weeks battle among the gamers. According to the website, there should be a "Sign Up" tournament in the mobile app and after signing in, you will play the first 10 ranked matches to earn tournament points (based on individual wins and rank). The higher your rank is, your more points you will get and reaching 80 points will grant access to Stage 2.
It should also be noted that players who are caught red-handed with any external devices such as Bluetooth controllers, wired controllers, a mouse, keyboard (etc, you get the picture) will automatically be disqualified. This includes any desktop emulators too, so whoever is found cheating will be banned fro participating in any future COD: Mobile tournaments.
We aren't sure what is the grand prize yet, nor if Malaysia will be part of it (even though it's a global tournament) but they will reveal more information soon in the future.
