As Sony approaches its 30th Anniversary of the PlayStation, the company just unveiled a cool nostalgic skin for the PS5 and PS5 Pro. The new limited edition design pays homage to the original PS1 which was launched on 3 December 1994 and integrated into the latest PS5 hardware lineup.

The 30th Anniversary Limited Edition lineup includes the PS5 Digital Edition (Disc Drive sold separately), PS5 Pro, PS Portal Remote Player, the DualSense and DualSense Edge Wireless Controllers, as well as a Vertical Stand (for the consoles), a PS sticker, a limited edition PS Poster (1 of 30 possible designs) and a PS Paperclip. There will only be 12,300 units of the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle.

As for the release date, the PS 30th Anniversary Collection will launch on 21 November 2024. It will be launching in regions where direct.playstation.com is available. This includes the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria. The customers there can start to pre-order the collection on 26 September.

For regions that don't have direct.playstation.com, customers can still pre-order on the same date at participating retailers. At the moment, we are unsure if any of the third-party game stores like Impulse Gaming, Gamer's Hideout and others will sell it. We just visited Sony Malaysia's website but there was no information about it.
