Sony recently tweeted a teaser image on their Twitter account which states that the new ZV-1 vlog focused compact camera will be unveiled on 26 May 2020. Based on a statement by TheVerge.com, it seems that the aforementioned camera is basically an RX100 camera that was remade for vlogging.

Much like the RX100VII, the ZV-1 comes equipped with an articulating screen and eye-based autofocus to ensure that your footage is focused even when you can’t manipulate the focus yourself. In addition to that, it also comes with a hot shoe for you to attach a microphone, external flash, or other accessories.

Lastly, it seems that the ZV-1 might come with a grip as well so that the user can comfortably grip onto the camera while they’re going around vlogging. Do take some of the information mentioned with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Sony has yet to provide an official statement for now.

Not only that, but there’s no official information in regards to the Malaysia release date, exact tech specs, and local pricing of Sony’s upcoming camera too.
