Sony Interactive Entertainment may have just broken a new record. Its exclusive 5v5 hero shooter, Concord which launched on 23 August 2024 will be taken down soon on 6 September 2024. That's right, this game only got to live for two weeks.

On the company's PlayStation blog site, the feedback given by the participating players was mixed. It said many qualities resonated with players but also admitted that aspects of the game and the initial launch didn't meet expectations. Concord will be gone for the time being, as Sony will look into and explore and determine the best option, especially on how to reach players.

For those who have already purchased Concord on their PS5 or PC, Sony will issue a full refund. On the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct, the refund will be issued back to your original payment method for up to 30-60 days, whereas for Steam and Epic Games gamers, the refund will be processed in a few days and will send confirmation once it's completed.

If you purchased the game from a retailer, you may ask for a refund as well. It should be noted that once the game is refunded, players can not access Concord servers anymore, especially on the aforementioned closing date.
