We have lost count of how many times we saw the news mentioning when the new Apple AirPods Pro would launch but didn't. This time, it might be more accurate as a tipster named FronTron has gotten the information directly from a credible source. According to them, the AirPods Pro 2 will indeed launch in Q3 2022.

As the tipster has a very limited track record for accurate leaks, the tipster told MacRumors that the information comes directly from the supply chain. Therefore, it could finally be true this time, and we might get to see the upcoming AirPods Pro between July 1 and September 30.

To recap, the new AirPods Pro could include updated motion sensors with a focus on fitness tracking. Based on the updates from the recently launched AirPods 3, it could also come with an IPX-4 rated water-resistant MagSafe Charging Case and all-new skin-detect sensors replacing the existing optical sensors. There are rumours going around that Apple will remove the stems as well for a more compact design.

No matter what, since Apple has not confirmed anything yet, it's still better to not put any high hopes on these rumours. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more tech gadget news.
