Previously, we reported on reliable tipster Ming-Chi Kuo’s claim that Apple will release a foldable iPad with a carbon fibre kickstand in 2024. However, Kuo may have missed the mark on this prediction as other tech insiders have since denied hearing anything on the matter.

Taking to Twitter, Mark Gurman said that he had heard anything about a foldable iPad in 2024. He reiterated that 2024 may only see spec bumps for entry-level iPad and iPad mini, as well as OLED panels for the Pro models.

Besides that, analyst Ross Young also echoed the same sentiment, replying to Gurman’s tweet by saying that he also had heard nothing about a foldable iPad for 2024. However, Young did reveal that there may be a 20.5-inch ‘foldable notebook’ from Apple in the works.

The analyst didn’t elaborate more on the product though, only saying that the product could be ready by 2025. Of course, technically, all laptops are ‘foldable’, but in this context, the alleged notebook features a foldable screen. Do take this with a grain of salt though as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
