As per tradition, Apple is back with another special edition of the AirPods. In view of the upcoming Chinese New Year this year, Apple has released the Special Edition AirPods 4 (ANC) at the price of RM829 on Apple Malaysia's website and in Apple Stores from 4 January 2024.
Besides the special CNY Snake engraving on the AirPods 4 charging casing, all the features remain the same as advertised. In case you missed it, the AirPods 4 was revealed last year with improved ergonomics fitting into the ear and Active Noise Cancellation in an open-ear design. Users can also use transparency mode to stay aware of their surroundings or simply use Adaptive Audio to switch between the two modes.
In addition, users can create a personal profile for Spatial Audio that delivers a listening experience precisely tuned just for them. With the H2 Apple silicon chip and advanced computational audio, users can privately respond to Siri announcements with a nod "yes" or shake of the head "no". And for clearer call quality for whomever you're speaking with, Voice Isolation removes the background noise and uses Conversation Awareness when speaking to someone nearby.
According to Apple, the AirPods 4 can deliver up to 4 hours of listening time in ANC mode and up to 20 hours with the Wireless Charging Case. This model with Active Noise Cancellation also supports additional charging options, including Qi wireless and Apple Watch chargers, and has a speaker in the Charging Case for help with Find My.
