It's already looking like Windows 10 on ARM computers will be a big trend in 2021. There are a few rumours about brands working on laptops with ARM-based chipsets and Huawei is one of them. In fact, a new leak suggests that there would be a Huawei laptop featuring a Kirin 990 chipset.

According to Changan Digital, Huawei has a new laptop called the Qingyun L410. Not only does it come with the Kirin 990 chipset, but it also has 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and a 14-inch (likely Full HD) display. In addition to that, the laptop is expected to come with an integrated 5G modem. To be honest, the chipset choice is pretty weird. After all, Huawei can no longer produce its own chipsets and could be running out of stock soon.

Hardware aside, some general users are also speculating that these ARM-powered laptops may not necessarily be Windows PCs. Huawei recently unveiled HarmonyOS 2.0 and it's a cross-platform OS, so there's a chance that the laptops could feature that OS instead. It would allow for more seamless integration with other Huawei devices, which is something that can be useful.

A new ARM-based Huawei laptop is definitely in development, though we don't know if it will be available outside of China. If it does, would you be willing to try a PC that is completely different from Windows or Mac? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
