As we are getting closer to the end of 2020, Spotify has released yet another round of top artists, albums and songs of the year. Surprisingly, Spotify also released a #2020Wrapped list for Malaysians on their top tracks and favourites while going through this pandemic period.
According to Spotify, BTS is Malaysia's most-streamed artist, followed by Justin Bieber and BLACKPINK as the second and third place. Then for the most-streamed local artist of 2020, Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza won once again for the third time (the previous time was 2017 and 2018). The following most-streamed local artists are K-Clique, Faizal Tahir, YonnyBoii and Naim Daniel.
On the other hand, Malaysians have also tuned in a wide variety of podcast shows this year. Notable local podcasters are Mamak Sessions, The Aida Azlin Show and TED Talks Daily, which most of the genres that we listened to our Lifestyle and Health, Society and Culture, and Religion and Spiritually.
